Position Overview:

We are seeking a Blockchain Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that convert raw onchain data into structured, reliable insights. You’ll play a key role in bridging blockchain complexity with clean, usable data that powers analytics, dashboards, and execution systems across the organization. This role requires a mix of backend engineering, data architecture, and blockchain expertise to ensure that the infrastructure operates with precision, scale, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting both onchain and off-chain data from multiple blockchain networks.

  • Normalize, index, and store blockchain data for real-time and historical access.

  • Develop and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.

  • Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and uptime across data systems.

  • Integrate diverse data sources including RPC nodes, subgraphs, indexers, and APIs.

  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver well-structured APIs and data endpoints.

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for pipelines and storage layers.

  • Document data architecture and continuously enhance system reliability and speed.

Job requirements

  • Proficiency in Python or Nodejs, with strong SQL and database design expertise.

  • Experience with Postgres, ClickHouse, or BigQuery.

  • Familiarity with The Graph, RPC APIs, or building custom indexers for blockchain data ingestion.

  • Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals transactions, logs, events, and smart contracts.

  • Experience using data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster in cloud environments.

  • Strong debugging, optimization, and observability skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams.
