Position Overview:
We are seeking a Blockchain Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that convert raw onchain data into structured, reliable insights. You’ll play a key role in bridging blockchain complexity with clean, usable data that powers analytics, dashboards, and execution systems across the organization. This role requires a mix of backend engineering, data architecture, and blockchain expertise to ensure that the infrastructure operates with precision, scale, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting both onchain and off-chain data from multiple blockchain networks.
Normalize, index, and store blockchain data for real-time and historical access.
Develop and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.
Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and uptime across data systems.
Integrate diverse data sources including RPC nodes, subgraphs, indexers, and APIs.
Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver well-structured APIs and data endpoints.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for pipelines and storage layers.
Document data architecture and continuously enhance system reliability and speed.
Job requirements
3+ years of experience in backend or data engineering, with exposure to blockchain data strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Python or Nodejs, with strong SQL and database design expertise.
Experience with Postgres, ClickHouse, or BigQuery.
Familiarity with The Graph, RPC APIs, or building custom indexers for blockchain data ingestion.
Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals transactions, logs, events, and smart contracts.
Experience using data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster in cloud environments.
Strong debugging, optimization, and observability skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams.
